aderztoon (Newcastle United) : Man City will make a shock bid for Adrian Mutu this January, Mark Hughes has said he is a big fan of Mutu and will make a bid of 34mil. He will be on a 100 grand a week contract for at least 5 years.

Lee_Gunner (Arsenal) : Arsenal Football Club have placed Felipe Melo on their list of potential January targetsThe 25-year-old Brazilian midfielder may be little known in England, but he is making a name for himself in Serie A after moving to Fiorentina from Almeria in the summer. Melo has played twelve times for the Florence club in the league this season and has also featured in all five of their UEFA Champions League matches, catching the eye of Arsene Wenger. "Apart from Arsenal, another power has shown interest in Felipe and I believe that, if he continues to play at these levels, Fiorentina will have difficulty in retaining him," said agent Jose Rodrigo Bastos. Viola would want around £10million for Melo if they find it too difficult to keep hold of his services, and this is a fee well within the budget at the Emirates Stadium.

The 20-year-old winger has flirted with the ideal of a move to the Premier League in the past, with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur the most mentioned clubs. Capel has now admitted he could be ready to make the move to England, and this has alerted Arsene Wenger who is keen to bolster his squad with more quality talent in the New Year. Dougie tipped for Reds move
NJL_Eagle (Crystal Palace) : I was walking past an Indian Restaurant in Liverpool last night and who did I see through the window enjoying a Masala?? Rafa.....and who was he in discussions with?? Dougie Freedman who seemed to be signing a contract whilst munching on an Onion Barji. So it seems official Freedman will sign as the new partner for Torress and also to give the team some regular goals.
